Sage Visits FLC

PEAQS

During his Spring Break week from Norfolk State University (NSU), Sage Brown, a sophomore majoring in electrical engineering, spent time at Fort Lewis College (FLC) working on electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) using an thermal-field emission SEM in Dr. Jessing's lab. Sage was trained on the EBSD technique for application to the material characterization of crystals grown in Dr. Temple's lab at NSU. Additionally, Sage had opportunities to see and participate in many of the other research projects going on at FLC and he spend time with other students in the PEAQS community.
